Shabby Apple: Sheepies & Secrets

Hebrew Reachel translates baby lamb "ewe."  And I love me some lambs, regardless of whether or not petting them at the State Fair caused me to break out into lamb lice.

In any case, I consider Shabby Apple's Sheep Meadow frock  aptly named. I love it like my own bottle-fed lambkin.  If the pictures don't tell story enough for you, let me elaborate in letters:

1.  Sleeves:  Even though I have a sweater collection fit for every imaginable scenario, Satan's hot windy breath has already reached Arizona's borders.  I extol the flexibility to remove my cardi thereby circumventing unnecessary visits to my dry cleaner.

2.  Color: Green, love child of blue and yellow, obediently compliments its parents, while flaring fiery contrasted romances with red, magenta, and orange.

3.  Pattern:  Stripes, nautically charismatic in their own right, and a naturally blending secondary pattern for florals and other fussier breeds.

4. Waist:  The a-line skirt flaring from a defined empire waist defines my figure while shrouding 12 week old Baby Billie.  I was curiously tempted to see how far into my second trimester I could selfishly cloister my favorite secret, using only the magic of fashion.  But proud Monsieur Bagley's secret keeper is about to rupture.  He's only been waiting six years to sire a flock.

Whether your all-inclusive figure ranges long or just stretches from shoulder to hip, these swimmers are designed to suit.

Plus a whole category dedicated to your lengthy swimwear needs.

Hapari GNO Butterfly Tankini
Top and bottom segregation creates natural flexibility, while the lengthy top ne'er dreams of exposing a shy midriff.

Land's End Long Torso All-over Control Uneven Squares Grecian Slender Swimsuit
The boy short styling will visually widen the hip line while the square neckline broadens the shoulder, all resulting in a definitely narrow waist.  Just be sure your legs run as long as your torso so the low legline doesn't compromise petite stems.

Flattering from every angle.

Swimwear Confidence: Hourglass Figure

(Image discovered through Domestic Bliss)

Find a flawless fit for each of your "va's" and definitely your "voom".

Tie an alert flag around your tiny waist.

The faux-wrap creates a really, real slimming effect.

A pattern drawn to paradisiacal proportions.

Centering in on your narrowest feature.

The pattern camouflages any secondary curves so your primary curves can enjoy all the glory.

Swimwear Confidence: Linear Figure

If you've never worn a swimsuit that didn't include generous helpers sewn into your cup support, these suits might inspire you to experiment with freedom.

A single strategically placed angle, creates and amplifies curves.

A touch boyish, makes a figure look even more girly.

One of my favorite swimmers of the season, perfectly glamorous ruffles in just the right spot.

A higher neckline always leads to a fuller bust.

Floribunda One-Piece
Piped lines re-draw dramatic curves.
