Procure your own empire constitution. Your personalized fashion look book can include your own pregnant styling rules of conduct and much more.
I'm looking forward to the postpartum feature. That's the hardest and most depressing for me, but I am looking forward to that time, however bittersweet it may be...
ReplyDeletethese have been great, reachel. they almost make me wish i was pregnant.
ReplyDeletelyndsay, you look fabulous!
Very nice looks! Do you have tips for those of us who can't afford an Anthropologie wardrobe?
ReplyDeleteOkay, I suppose those tips would apply at any store, maybe what I should say is; could you show us some less expensive items?
Really enjoying your maternity posts!
Allison, there's a reason I work at Anthropologie and enjoy the discount I receive in turn. As far as shopping on a budget, Anthro does markdowns every Tuesday, which means that's the day to get the best selection on sale. And believe me everything eventually goes on sale. If the store closest to you doesn't have it, ask them to do a complimentary charge send from another store.
ReplyDeleteThere are many retail establishments that sell really lovely pretties: Target, Forever21, H&M. However, when you buy these bargains it usually doesn't last more than a season. Which is why I usually recommend shopping quality sales instead, because you can get more value for your investment.
Your blog is lovely! Thank you so very much...the "body type" tutorials were adorable and helpful.
ReplyDeleteI will be sending my readers (from www.theblackapple.typepad.com/somegirlswander)
over here for a gander, post-haste. :)
Thanks for the tip on the mark downs!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to head over on Tuesday mornings.
Again- I'm loving the maternity posts...I'm on baby #4 right now and luckily stll fitting into my regular clothes. But the clock is ticking, I need to do a little shopping ASAP!!!
I wish I would have had your amazing fashion sense and ideas when I was pregant.
ReplyDeleteI love those fashions! I wish I would have known you when I was pregnant!
ReplyDeleteI really loved this feature. Right now expecting number five (a surprise baby) and will look forward to revamping my pregnancy wardrobe since I gave all my pregnancy clothes away last baby!
ReplyDeleteA question I have is about shoes. With these cute outfits, what shoes would you recommend? For me, heels are out and flip flops are too flimsy. I tend to wear my tennies whenever I can. Got some stylish, comfy suggestions for shoes with these outfits?
Great suggestions - especially the dress. The tops though absolutely would not work during the latter half of pregnancy without wearing a shirt under them. Even though they are empire waisted they just aren't long enough once the belly really sticks out. They'd be great during the first half of pregnancy though.
ReplyDeleteAndrea, how could we forget shoes? I would try a cute low wedge like this: http://www.endless.com/Jessica-Simpson-Womens-Taurus-Wedge/dp/B00155EUG4
ReplyDeleteOr a simple ballet flat like this: http://www.endless.com/Charles-Albert-Womens-Tomi-Mary/dp/B001BZ97NY

ReplyDeleteFor the last weeks of pregnancy, I'd try something like these tunics:

Great post. I like so much these dresses. The women are looking so pretty in these dresses. These dresses are comfortable for nursing. It also can be dressed up or down with the addition of jewelry. A fun colorful pattern is combined with a gorgeous crochet neckline. It looks great with jeans or black or white capris, and is perfect for anything from a day at the park to a dinner out. Top and pull up their shirt to nurse. Thanks for join with us.
