Tall & Petite Week

5 ft 3.8 inches: average adult female height
8: average female shoe size
31.5 inches: average female pant inseam
21.4 inches: average skirt length
7 ft 9 in: height of world's tallest woman
2 ft 7 in: height of world's shortest woman

This week is dedicated to both cute, curly little ends of the female height bell curve. We will explore and adore each of inch of you, so meet me here with heels on.

    Bless you, Bless you! I am 5'10" and around a size 6 and I can't find anything modest and appropriate. If it's long enough, it's shaped like a tent. My brother is getting married in a few weeks and I can't find anything to wear.

    So glad! I am 5'3" but have short legs and a long torso and it is very hard to find clothes that fit perfectly!

    i swear that in the U.S. anyway, the average height for a female is much higher than that! i'm just under 5'2" and consider myself super-short but nice to know i'm only just below average worldwide anyway ;)

    I'm 5'9" and have a 34" inseam - quite looking forward to hearing what you have to suggest for tall women.
    *personal frustration? Why does tall need to mean big to so many manufacturer's?

    Oh yay! I've just discovered your blog, and am so excited to see what you have to say about us tall ladies. I'm 5'11" and am mostly leg. It takes effort to look proportioned and not stilt-like.
