Personal Trend: Music

One of my most beloved operas, Léo Delibes’ Lakmé, presents yet another opportunity to clothe ourselves in personalized passions.

In way of introduction, the British regimented Gérald falls for

the exotic Brahmin priestess Lakmé

The romance initiates with the bewitching flower duet, the  ensembles follow:

Eastern inspired adornments reminisce the jewelry Lakmé removes at the pool, thus orchestrating the lovers' introduction.
The indigenous ikat pattern weaves color and pattern like the opera weaves rhythm and tone.
A contrasting companion to the unorthodox blouse, a prim midi-skirt with rows of Victorian buttons at the hips.
To finish, a traditional oxford with an untamed tangerine twist.

This ensemble juxtaposes the East Indian ikat against military style adornments, symbolizing the unexpected romance binding Officer Gérald and Hindu elite Lakmé

What are you listening to right now? Or who is your favorite musician.

Right now I have the Super Why theme song stuck in my head.
