Freshy Spring Trend 2012: Bold Pattern

kate spade's spring collection of florence broadhurst prints
Color blocking is still firmly entrenched in the retail barracks, but prints are waging a counter attack for closets this Spring 2012. At the avante garde is led by bold, brave prints in strong contrasts and large scale.

While the boldest of the bold may wear a single print from crown to heel, others can test the trend by adopting a fresh uniform of patterned trousers and solid blouse.

more ways to support the print-surrection.

  1. OK, this is just me venting on my number one pet peeve of patterns/prints, but I absolutely HATE when patterns/prints don't match up at the seams. Especially for Polka dots and Plaid. I understand that the inseam of those pants might not match up, but the outer seam should! To me it's a sad loss of quality when details like that are overlooked.

  2. Kit I'm definitely with you. I purchase quality because I'm interested in details, and although I love these pants, I 'm disappointed that they didn't line up the fabric on the seams :(

    Let's start a revolution!
