How to Dress for Valentine's Day Giveaway

I tried today even to wear a dress(hoping to dress more feminine this year) and I try it on and wow, so unflattering. I am one of the hourglass figures that you talk about but my torso seems too short for anything... I like the Oceanfront dress too:-)
