Money Saving Tips: Online Shopping Free Shipping

Few pleasures trump finding a carefully packaged card, large envelope, or box in my post case. One of the formats in which I indulge this pleasure is online shopping. But while I find purchasing specialty stamps quaint, I don't particularly adore shipping fees.

Provident panacea: RetailMeNot, a comprehensive search-able library of coupons and discount codes, tested, dated, and verified. Here lies the secret to free shipping or at least a reasonable discount to justify the postage fees.

And don't forget to sign up for e-mails from your favorite mercantiles, they'll send pretty treats to your inbox.

Happy Savings!

  1. Yes, I do so love Retailmenot.com. You somehow feel like you're cheating the system when you find and successfully apply a good discount code! I have noticed, though, that a number of retailers have requested that their codes be removed, unfortunately. I smiled when I read your comment about the joy of online shopping, because it delivers the joy of a package on your doorstep or in your post box. I feel the exact same way (it literally makes my day)!

  2. I don't purchase anything online without checking retailmenot.com first! It has saved me a ton of money. I also like to check slickdeals.net and cheaptweet.com (run by a friend of mine) for daily finds!
