Modest dresses, bright colors, brillian millinery, and gloves? I believe my own royal inspired soiree is in order.
But first, whose dress did you like best?
After the bride I like Joss Stone the best.
ReplyDeleteYes, the Bride was definitly the best dressed, followed closely by her sister Pippa. And now I'm also in love with the name Pippa! My favorite non-wedding party member attire is Joss Stone
ReplyDeleteKate Middleton has a gorgeous dress as does her sister Pippa. My favorite who is not in the wedding party is Princess Victoria.
ReplyDeleteI agree that Kate was the best dressed (as any bride should be) but I love Joss Stones' dress.
ReplyDeleteI'm acutally not a huge fan of Kate's dress. . . . it seems disrespectful to say so, but it's my truth. I find it a little too austere. Picky, I know.
ReplyDeleteJoss Stone however nailed it! I'd wear that entire ensemble in a heart beat. Perfection! I like the monochromatic color scheme and fancy yet tasteful hat.
Second favorite is the Princess of Sweden, Victoria. Love the wrap dress -but I'd ditch the brooch. Again a monochromatic color scheme. Very tastteful!
Cheena, You and I have a pendinf long conversation on the choice of attire;)
ReplyDeletethe brides and the maid of honors. I was a bit disappointed with the rest. but i loved all the great hats!
ReplyDeleteLove Kate's dress and her sister's -- her mom looked lovely as well.
ReplyDeletePippa and Princess Victoria! But best hat goes to Lady Frederick :)
ReplyDeleteMother of the Bride was very nice as was Lady Fredich, Princess Victoria and Joss Stone. But the HATS! What gives there? There were a few that were really out there.
ReplyDeleteWhat did YOU think of Bea & Eug????
ReplyDeleteLady Amy,
ReplyDeleteRegarding Eugenia & Beatrice, there is in reality a prince marrying his princess and if that doesn't call for an over the top fascinator and some ridiculous romance, I don't know what does. However, even fairytale frocks can be flattering. I wish they would have hired me.
I loved Kate's dress, closely followed by Pippa's. Victoria's dress was also lovely!
ReplyDeleteKate Middleton looked gorgeous. Marrying into royalty, I would have opted for something sparkly, but she was definitely sophisticated. Non wedding party, I liked Princess Victoria of Sweden. She was one of the only ones I though looked chic and not costume-y. Well, her and Mrs. Beckham.
ReplyDeleteI want to go to an English wedding just to wear an amazing hat.
ReplyDeleteKate was stunning with a close second being Pippa. that girl nearly stole the show. She looked a.ma.zing. :)
ReplyDeleteJoy
Kate and Pippa win! I liked Samantha Cameron's as well.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree w/ Angela!
ReplyDeleteBride: Kate wins down!
Runner-up: Pippa Middleton
3rd place: Joss Stone She was a very elegantly dressed guest!
Misprint: I meant to say that Kate wins 'Hands-down'.(w/o competition)
