Shopping Safari Day Four: Old Navy

I have to give props to a store that can carry a shoe in this style and a coat with this print. Granted, these items will only last for a season, but there are times when wisdom promotes the purchase of short lived clothing. When you're buying an extreme trend, when you're in the process of changing your weight, or when you know our chosen activity will quickly destroy your uniform. Well in those cases, you'd better make a stop at Old Navy. But when it's short lovely life has been lived, please show it respect by giving it a respectful end. Cardigan Empire does not condone the wearing and exploitation of clothing carcasses.

  1. Your right these clohtes lasting about one season. Right now their cotton t-shirt dresses have been wonderful for my daughter who just had surgery. Both of her legs are in cast and these have been very afforable options since I know she will never wear them again once the cast come off.

  2. I'm glad allowances are given to shop here when we are changing sizes and for disposable clothes. I just had another baby and needing some items to fill in the gap until I return to normal and can splurge on more quality items. Wearing all Old Navy right now in my "fat" clothes :)

  3. I just realized I need to buy a swimsuit. And then I realized I don't even want to try without the advice of my favorite fashion girl. Will there be any swimwear posts in the future??? (i hope) ;)

  5. Thank you so much for featuring stores that I shop at. Being a stay at home mom, I can't justify spending $50 on a tshirt. I can update my wardrobe with new clothes and be more fashionable, thanks to these hints. I can't wait for my shopping money to get here!

  6. I love these combos! I love the bright, colorful springy looks out right now, but I can never put them together. I always end up wearing neutral white and denim. Blah. I am ordering both outfits to try! Thanks!
