Shopping Safari Day Two: JCPenney's

Mom's pet name for it was Pennies. Patiently folded arms within its perimeter were rewarded generously with a See's chocolate. With a sharper edge of modern and a flirtier flash of femininity than I remember seeing while hiding amidst the garment racks, I now recommend giving it a fresh glance. What I amply appreciate is affordable fashion available in womens' sizes. While juniors get far more freshy trends for their money, the cuts are simpler and do not accommodate as many curves as a fully matured lady acquires. With no further introduction, welcome to JC Penney's.

  2. We bought a couch from "Penny's" (that's what I call it too) for our basement. Since we knew that whatever we bought would be destroyed by kids, we thought the knock off version of what we liked would be the best way to go.

BUT I have to say that I was shocked to see some browse-worthy fashions as we walked through the store...

Now that our budget is getting very limited and most of my work clothes are starting to fall apart from wear, I appreciate these tips for cheaper options. Forever 21 and H&M (and now PENNY'S) here I come!

  3. I am SO addicted to your blog! I am almost positive that I am a celery and you described it in perfect detail...when I shop at department stores I usually become very frustrated because they don't carry sizes small enough to fit my small frame. I can't wait to see what other stores you will stop at on our safari.

  4. Ohmygosh! Those peep toe pumps! They're already gone! *GASP* I am in definite need of some chocolate brown shoes with class, so I guess I need to high tail it over to Penney's, pronto, no?

Beautiful ensembles! Who-da thunk at Penney's?
