    I love reading your blog and have purchased a few of the items you have featured. Great choices. I have a question. I live in HOT Houston and I am now married to a Muslim man. This means I cannot wear shorts, short skirts, or mini dresses in this heat. I like the idea of the maxi dress, but I am only 5'4". Can I wear it? I am an hour glass shape. Any help would be great.

    isabelkham-It's all about proportion. As long as the maxi dress has appropriate contours for your shape it should work. Personally, I love this one (http://budurl.com/maxi). You can pair it with a light cardigan for additional modesty (http://budurl.com/cardi). This one would also be a flattering alternative (http://budurl.com/maxi2) Just make sure it's not too boxy or billowy, or you will get lost in the fabric.
