Fitting Room Friday: What to Wear to a Wedding

Lang Photographers
So Miss Mandy had a wedding inked in her engagement book for her bosom friend Chelsea.  Chelsea had a groom from South Africa, an eviable collection of passport stamps, and Bali sunset inspired wedding hues.  But what Mandy needed was something exotic to wear, so we went on an wedding ensemble safari:

Back Porch Blouse + Parading Hues Dress
Back Porch Blouse + Antilles Tank + Ackee Pencil Skirt
Sunny Soiree Dress + Transitional Cropped Topper
Nostalgic Astericks Dress + Buttdown Colwneck
Gull Wing Dress + Of the Ages Pullover

So which frock do you fancy?

And could this bride get any Prettier?

  1. The astericks dress hands down. I hate finding an outfit for a wedding. I alway feel either under or overdressed.

  2. Love the first one! I think it would also be fun with the cardigan/blouse on top. . .

  3. Astericks dress. Definitely! Perfect combo of wild and proper, casual and formal. :-) And what a gorgeous color! Wish I could pull off orange in a dose like that!

  5. I like the last look the best - elegant and classy. Perfect for a wedding. Look one and three are a little too bold and you she doesn't want to take the attention away from the bride.

  9. Dear Empress,
So, this is unrelated, but like any comment I ever leave (or inquiry or request I ever have) is related to the post. Do you have any suggestions for stellar tailors in the Mesa area? (Oh, and I like the first look the best!)
    Thanks!
