For Christmas Coco received her very own storybook. Written by her mommy with a lot of help from a very dear, and very talented illustrator, Lady Beth Allen.
And I have another Christmas surprise to share...
But first, what did you give for Christmas?
that is just priceless and i somehow saw a picture of you and your new little guy..so touching. Very happy for you guys.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness that is so lovely. My daughter is Coco, too, so I gravitated right over to this and then had to explore your adoption posts.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing. My dear friend is supposed to receive his new adopted daughter on 1/4/11 and I know he'll love to see your book as well.
Beautiful.
How sweet. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThis is spectacular. I am an adopted child and it means so much to know that someone loved and wanted you...and also that someone gave up their need to know you so that you could have everything! That is love.
ReplyDeleteI got an engagement ring!
ReplyDeleteOkay, not really, but sometimes I pretend.
Love, Jennie
Oh Reachel! It's perfect. Thoughtfully, tenderly written and illustrated to perfection (personal favorites are searching high, searching low).
ReplyDeleteHow blessed you all are.
Can't wait to see your little man. Don't leave us hanging for long :)
what a beautiful gift. absolutely wonderful.
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely gift! Cannot wait to see pictures of your new sweet boy - I hope you're feeling well!
ReplyDeleteI gave all kinds of goodies - lots of little, thoughtful (I hope) things. I need to be better about not going overboard, but I love giving gifts so much more than receiving them!!
Love the book-idea--and LOVE how it turned out. We tell our daughter her story of "lost and found" over and over again and she loves it. Congrats on your BIG Christmas gift. ;)

That is so cool Reachel! I love it. That inspires me to get going on someof the crafty personalized gifts Chad and I have talked about over the last few years. You must be super pleased with the product.

ReplyDeleteI Love all of your faces!!! Kisses
ReplyDeleteThat was so gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful book. I love the illustrations, and of course the story. :)
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI loved your story, what a great idea, I love how you personalized it just for your daughter. I have to admit I cried a little when I read it, even though I have never met you or your family in person, your story has touched me and brought a little hope into my current situations. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, Reachel! A perfect gift for sweet Coco. Love the illustration of precious Rosie. It reminds me once again of our precious D who gave to us her sweet baby. You perfectly communicated to Coco that she is your baby. Love it. I often say that I believe God closed my womb so that we could have Elizabeth...and then opened it for the 3 babies that followed---and though it was hard to wait for Elizabeth, she was so worth the pain and tears. I wouldn't have it any other way. Blessings on you!
ReplyDeleteI had to come see Heavenly Father's Christmas gift, baby Levi, and couldn't NOT comment on Coco's present too. Your babies are so lucky to have you all!
ReplyDeleteTears. :)
